do you ever feel like you are just treading water...just trying to survive?  or worse...do you feel like you are drowning in life's situations? the good news you don't have to live like that. there is a different way.

imagine you were thrown into the deep end of the pool without knowing how to swim. you would probably kick and wave your arms...trying to keep your head above water. but what if you had taken in one deep breath...filled your lungs with air...and let your body relax?  slowly you can feel your entire body float to the surface...leaning your head back you can see the sky above you...the ripples of water caressing your skin...the noise of the world muffled out as your ears slip beneath the water line. you start to exhale with relief...but almost panic as you feel yourself start to sink...but quickly breath in filling your lungs completely and your body rises again to the surface.

that's life. that's what faith feels like. it's letting go of the struggle...the exhaustion of treading water...of trying all by yourself to solve every problem. when you turn your thoughts and your imagination to faith-filled outcomes...with thoughts of praise and thankfulness...to the simple knowledge that with GOD all things are possible, it feels like floating.  fill your mind with supernatural possibilities. just like you would fill your lungs with air...breath in and stop fighting the water...stop fighting the circumstances around you.

you were created by the same God that created the entire universe.  nothing is impossible for Him if you just ask. Jesus can calm your storm...HE can give you peace in the middle of chaos. but you must turn your mind to faith...not fear.  keep your focus on HIM and HIS promises.

relax.  let go.  let the world be the world.
