do you feel worry, anger, depression, confusion, fear, guilt, or doubt? are your thoughts generally about things you fear or worry about...or feel guilty about? there is a way out from under it...a way to replace the negative thoughts with something good.
the bible speaks about the importance of what we think and what we speak... as in proverbs 4.23... "be careful what you think, your life is shaped by your thoughts." making the choice to think about things that are good, that deserve praise, things that are true, noble, right, pure, lovely and honorable (philippians 4.8) is up to us. controlling our thoughts and imagination...choosing what we hold in our minds is our own responsibility. if we allow our thoughts to follow everything going on around us...then our thoughts, moods, and ultimately our lives are controlled by the input of images, voices and situations around us, or by the past that we keep replaying in our minds. but by disciplining yourself to focus on thoughts of hope, good memories, dreams and all good things, your life will change dramatically. In 2 corinthians 4.13 it says "i spoke because i believed. in the same spirit of faith we also speak because we believe." in mark 11.23..."i assure you that whoever tells this mountain to get up and throw itself in the sea and does not doubt in his heart, but believes that what he says will happen, it will be done for him." proverbs 18.21 says "the tongue can speak words that bring life or death. those who love to talk must be ready to accept what it brings." and in proverbs 4.23, "be careful how you think; your life is shaped by your thoughts." believe...live by faith

In other words...don’t keep dwelling on the past... you’ll miss all the good stuff God is giving you today. Forget the former things; do not dwell on the past. See, I am doing a new thing! Joyce Meyer I don’t know what tomorrow looks like. BUT GOD DOES AND HE IS WITH ME. I don’t have to be afraid.
So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.
